Slop Audit

Checks a site, not a single article. It samples pages across the archive, scores each one, then looks at what they have in common — because the giveaway is rarely one page, it's the sameness across all of them.

How many pages to sample

Pages come from the site's own sitemap, sampled across the whole archive rather than the newest few. Sites with no sitemap fall back to homepage links.

The audit shows up here.

Every page gets its own score, then the site gets one. The site-level checks are the useful part: phrases repeated verbatim across articles, articles that all land at the same length, scores that cluster too tightly, missing bylines, and posts published in suspiciously tight bursts.
